How do I get my PC to its previous state?
In October I downloaded XP SP3 After rebooting I had lost a lot of files and programs. I put that to have done something wrong. I repeated what I could and activity. Now, after using a registry cleaner, my PC rebooted with all my files from October. System Restore only goes back to March 6 (Thursday). Does anyone have any solution favor.
One of the things that have to do before of a service pack, Service Pack 3 in this case, is to clean the machine with your anti-spyware programs. This could be the reason for these problems, it is difficult to say from here. Since you returned files and programs that had "disappeared" Now I do analysis with anti-virus and anti-spyware programs (updated first of course) and Windows Update and all other programs. Then disable System Restore to remove infected restore points and then on again Restore to create a clean, new, period. After a reboot, you should be good to go.
